Well I don't know about the rest of you but I am barely hanging on. This heat is killing me and a few things planted outside. Our grass has never looked so bad. I talked with TJ, our Ryan Lawn & Tree lawn expert, and he told me that the outbreak of brown patch is the worst he has seen in 20 years. I have been watering my annuals twice daily but they still look awful. I'm tempted to pull everything out of the pots I have planted and wait a couple of weeks to see if this heat pattern breaks. This summer has been one of the hottest I can remember. I am ready to move on to cooler and less humid days.

Looking forward to cooler days. Planted a fall garden recentrly; nothing germinating yet, so that's frustrating. I'm new to this, so any ideas would be appreciated. Some of my annuals look pretty sad, too.
