There are some varieties of tomatillos now that get larger. I think Tomato growers Supply carries one. I would call them a weed as they can reseed easily. They grow fine here.

Linda, Hmmmm. . . I think it may depend a bit on soil conditions, but someone else might comment on that. My husband thinks the lemon and lime is too citrusy, so I'll watch out for that next year and will put in more of the mammoth kind.…
