Tricyrtis have done well for me in shade. Lamium is good if you can keep it under control. Impatiens for summer color.

Spring bulbs

I got out last weekend and applied blood and bone meal to all the green sprouts that are appearing in my garden. It felt so good to be in the warm sun and beginning this year's work.

About Me:
I live in a condo which has established trees and shrubs, but little else. Two other women and I have taken it upon ourselves to move those plants which had been planted in the wrong place (I.e. sun lovers in shade) and to trim bushes and trees. We have also taken advantage of clearance sale plants at local stores and have had quite a bit of success with them. We now have several flower beds and shade gardens and will continue our efforts this year

PS Congrats on your big WIN the other night against KU. I am not a KU grad but I do love KU basketball. Mizzou played great! What a fun game!
