Pedro, I heard a discussion on the Toby Tobin radio show that many people didn't get blooms from their hydrangeas this year. I had the same problem. The suggestions they had for next year are:

Looks so pretty. I have lots of things like that also. So nice, because i can transplant that type of cover, just by pulling and poking it in the ground where i have blank spaces, if i need the space, i pull it out and replace it, meanwhile, there...
I now consider them free groundcover. I'm with Kathi, as long as i don't make the mistake of mixing them up with nutweed? or something like that, i've decided they are beautiful and a free gift from God. In other words, I give up! :)
I feel your pain. I have fought them for many years under a walnut tree by digging them out. It is where I have a shade garden (not grass). This year they have really taken over and I'm going to have a new outlook on them and consider them a beaut...
If you are asking what the groundcover is, it's creeping jenny.

I bought the bottle with the hose-end sprayer because I needed to spray my entire yard so I didn't need to mix it. I think I will get 2 sprayings from the one bottle.

I am waiting for replies to this also. The violets have almost taken over parts of our lawn and NOTHING I have tried has helped.
