The daylilies were fabulous! While we were there a gigantic wild turkey walked out from under the deck.

Daylilies are beautiful

The spring rains were a real boost for the daylilies. They are bursting with size and colors. Hope some of you can attend my open house/tour on Sunday and Monday...the 28 & 29th from 9a-2p.

in addition to the crocus blooming today my Lenten Rose opened several beautiful white flowers. Amazing how a little flower lifts the spirits.

how exciting to see the first yellow crocus waving to me this morning. After removing some leaves I found a few more...how fun.

Thanks Lois, I'll watch for the date in KC Gardener, I read that from cover to cover every month. I also discovered my yellow crocuses blooming today. I wonder if yellow blooms earlier than other colors? Mine are part of a mixed color planting, all planted at the same time from the same bag but only the yellow is blooming right now.

Hi Lois,
I just read your profile. When is your annual garden tour?

Thanks, and yes let us all know about the day lillies sale. I have a few already
I made a terrace around the driveway and yes each plant has became huge
and overgrown, I need to transplant and spread them out even more. I did
plug some on the north side of the house from my old residence, just so I
could transplant them later when I decided where to put them. They actually
are thriving but in the spring I will find them a new home. This is how I spend
my winter days , thinking where I will put things or transplant.
