I have squash beetles really bad this year.  I've actually pulled out my 2 zucchini plants because they're not producing even though they're huge.  Not really worth using Sevin over and over for 2 or…Continue

Dying Raspberry Bush

My raspberries started out great.  I planted them last year and got berries right away.  This year, after I cut it back in the early spring, it came back really well and actually spread quite a bit. …Continue

I planted a blueberry bush last year, and this year it is having some trouble.  It really is just two sticks with a few buds.  I do know the soil should be acid, but what is the best way to do this? …Continue

"I didn't have sqash beetles but I battled squash borer all season long by scraping off the eggs laid by the familiar black and red moth and cutting them out of the stalk when I found one. The plants survived and were healthy looking, but did…"

"Mine are producing lots of tiny little beans, but they never really grow bigger than1-2 inches long. Not sure if it's just the amount of rain, humidity, and heat we've been having here in KC?"

Dying Raspberry Bush

My raspberries started out great.  I planted them last year and got berries right away.  This year, after I cut it back in the early spring, it came back really well and actually spread quite a bit.  Now many of these new shoots have died.  They first started having leaves at the top brown at the edges  and then slowly all the top leaves shriveled and the rest of the branch followed suit.  It is producing a few berries from the one healthy stalk, but not sure what I can do or what happened?See More
