Do you think that Acorn leaves will make a good decomposing compost? I had so much I plan to start a compost pile.

no problem! I have a favorite crabapple too and it constantly sprouts those suckers, however im a bit of a cheapskate where i can be and just sorta mash em or mow em off at the ground and knock em or rub them off at the base of the tree. I would get sucker stopper (if I wasnt so obsessed about my trees)but when i walk by the tree and see a sucker starting to grow, it has to go right then so im all over it and am not patient enough to wait and buy some chemical for it. I actually have 90 something children (trees) in the yard that i check daily sometimes. (not when its freezing cold i hate cold).
