About Me:: I've been flower gardening for approximately 10 years.
Absolutely love it! My favorite places are garden centers! I'm like a kid in a candy store!
I like to think I am painting with flowers in my yard.
I've had back problems, so have had to limit some of my efforts!
I've mostly grown flowers, but want to learn more about growing vegetables in 2009.
Also want to learn more about trees and shrubs.

Thanks to Shelly and Bob for creating this site! I would love to have more contact with other Kansas City area gardeners!

Right now, in the dead of winter, it is so hard to think about being outside & gardening, but I can hardly wait!

I'm going to work on my list of garden goals for 2009.

I invite other gardeners to tell us some of their goals and project ideas for this new year!
