"If you have water coming out it sounds like it is too wet. Also, did you use the red wiggler type worm rather than, say, nightcrawlers? Is the bin in a darker area?"

I prepared a bin with mostly shredded paper & cardboard and a little dead leaves and soil Dampened it well and put in the worms and a little vegetable scraps. This morning there was some water coming out of the holes and also worms. I'm afraid I'm killing them. I read if their bin was good they would not come out. Any advice?
