- I'm a painter, mom, wife, jack-of-all-trades sort of gal. We moved back to Kansas City in 2005 after several years in southern California. Relearning how to garden outside of zone 10 was an experience. We live in an old house on a small lot in midtown and gardening has been my therapy!
I garden compulsively, it's true.
I have my little urban organic veggie patch in the one sunny spot in the yard and lots of shade-loving beds in the rest. I love color and texture and am definitely not afraid to go crazy and mix things up. And I love to push that zone 6 envelope.
