Not sure if I'm brave or stupid
but just finished transplanting my lettuce, broc and cabbage plants, weather is to stay above freezing (barely) but all my plants are getting to leggy in the pots

These plants can take light frosts so they should be ok. Mine have been out for the last 3 weeks. I covered them when we had the hard freeze and everything survived.

I haven't grown veggies, but from what I read and hear, those are all cool temp plants, so I think you will be okay! (Now, tomatoes, which I have grown, would probably be in trouble, because they need warm and hot weather.)
Someday I am going to grow more veggies!
I am impressed that you are doing that!
