Worm composting help
I prepared a bin with mostly shredded paper & cardboard and a little dead leaves and soil Dampened it well and put in the worms and a little vegetable scraps. This morning there was some water coming out of the holes and also worms. I'm afraid I'm killing them. I read if their bin was good they would not come out. Any advice?

If you have water coming out it sounds like it is too wet. Also, did you use the red wiggler type worm rather than, say, nightcrawlers? Is the bin in a darker area?
