Should anything be done about spring bulbs (daffodils) that have broken ground in this weird weather?

I have daffodils coming up all over the place. Some are as high as 6 inches, others have just broken ground. Should I do anything about them, like cutting the foliage back or mulching deeply over them? Or should I just leave them alone? And will they come up again in the spring, or will the freeze -- whenever it gets here -- kill them?

Thanks!
Sally
