Just had major foundation work done and had to pull out 7 mini boxwoods.  The soil fell away from the roots and they've been exposed to air for 3 days.  The contractors planted them again today.  We realize we may lose them but wondered what we should do to try to help them survive the shock?  Do we water them now with freezing weather upon us?  Do we put any type of fertilizer on them?  What is the best way to save shrubs in this situation?  Thank you for any help you can give!
