Rabbitts!
I was heartsick yesterday to discover my dappled willow bush stripped bare, and they started on my viburnum, too. I saw one in the yard with an eye towards my one single rosebush that I've coddled all year. Can anyone suggest a way to stop these rabbits? Are there shrubs and flowers they'll likely leave alone? I'm about to give up gardening, but really don't want to.

I started using Bonide's Deer and Rabbit repellent recently and it seems to be really working

The rabbits are terrible in my yard, too. Much worse than last year. I tried Rabbit Scram this year, but don't think it's as good as Liquid Fence. So I'm going back to Liquid Fence. Both products are expensive, but so are my roses and perennials! You can get Liquid Fence at Suburban Lawn & Garden and Family Tree Nursery. If you use Liquid Fence, spray it on in the early evening and the smell will be much milder by the next day. And then in a couple of days you won't notice it.

Thank you for your helpful advice. My friend brought me a product "Deer Off" which is advertised to work for rabbits, too. It seems to have worked on the shrubs and rose in the backyard. I didn't spray anything in the front yard, so, yesterday the two mouse ear hostas that were just about to bloom had their buds eaten to a stump. I am just about out of "Deer Off" so I'll give "Liquid Fence" a try. Do they come in gallon drums? I agree, it's expensive preventive, but necessary.
