I'm a firm believer in having to live with the animals around us but this last week has been rough. I have a Manhattan Euonymus that is now gone above the snow fall. Several newly planted oak leaf hydrangeas are also being decimated.

What can I do? Is there something I can feed to the bunnies to keep them from starving while keeping them away from my remaining plants?

Try Liquid Fence. It's worked better for me than anything else. You can buy it at Home Depot, Suburban Lawn & Garden, and Family Tree Nursery. It's cheapest to buy the concentrate and mix it with water in a small sprayer. Spray your shrubs until they're dripping wet on a day when the temperature is above freezing. Yes, the stuff stinks but the odor dissipates in about 24 hours. Hope this helps -- Sally Williams
Thanks. On my list to buy.
