hello
i have an 8' apple tree in blossom which i need to move. i understand waiting until autumn / winter is the wisest option but it is much more practical from this gardener's point of view to move it in the next few days.
is this a death sentence for the tree? if not, are there any precautions to take other than just digging up all the roots and transplanting it to a well watered hole? i read that knocking off any fruit when transplanting a tree would help the plant focus it's energy on vital processes. should i remove the blossom likewise?
any help apprecited
