When you hear cicadas (locusts) singing it signals that it will frost in six weeks
ooooh thats a good one too.
Well my late father always said that Easter Sunday weather predicts the weather for that month. Then the next six days would determine the weather for the next six months. I would challenge my father on all that "compost" but he would point out that this day's weather corresponded to that time/hour during those seven days. I could never win. He could always justify the weather with some memory of one of those seven days. For me I depend on the weather service and science for information not the old wives tales. I do believe that the natural world explains (predicts) the future weather, God does provide for the natural world. I don't know but I just don't believe in superstitions. Superstitions belong in the coffee shop gossip. I believe in science (and religion) not superstitions.
Ok, I meant " Superstions, Old wives tales, Coffeshop gossip". I love to hear the old tales. Your Dads was a good one hmmmmm.
