start digging the ground around mid march. You could possibly sow some greens there and have them thrive if our weather is right. If you sow them under a floating row cover (sold at garden centers) they should do fine for even freezes depending on the green). You could even start onion plants and peas from seed.

You can find seed locally. I like Soil Service (72nd Troost) or Planters Seed for my seed purchases but even Wal Marts are fine for finding beets and most greens.

By April you should be able to plant most any greens, onions, radishes, broccoli, cabbage, peas, beets, carrots and just about any other veggie that likes cool soil.

Plants like peppers, tomatoes, squash, beans, corn and melons should be started after the soil warms. That could be mid May here. Some years you can start earlier and there are tricks to help but if the soil is cool they will just sit there until it warms.
Hi,
I don't have seeds, but some advice if you live in rabbit infested areas. Beet greens seem to be particularly delectable to rabbits, so I have learned to plant them in pots. Then I actually get some of the greens!

had rabbits three years ago put up chicken fence and a box trap, they are a pain. grow most of the garden in tomato cages 2 feet high put carpit inside then add ash leaves chicken manure top off with soil then plant for summer planting for spring redo the cages as befor then let rest until spring, remove the carpit lining out of the cages at this time. then plant.put the carpit with leaves under them for path ways. this year going to add plastic sheet over the cages to make a tunnel, this is new for me.will see how it gos with the cold weather vegetables bob
