I have thousands of baby maple trees springing up all over my beds. Do I have to pull each and every one? This was an especially prolific year for those helicopters. I'm hoping there's another way because it'll break my back if I have to pull them all.
I'm afraid you're going to have to pull them or use a hoe or other tool to dislodge them. Don't wait too much longer. The roots will only get stronger making them that much harder to remove.
For any maple saplings popping up in the lawn, simply mow them over.
